4.2 Review and compliance checks

We will review under applicable laws. If some data must be retained for statutory/contractual purposes (e.g., tax, audit, disputes), we will explain reasons and retention period within [X] business days.

4.3 Execute deletion

If no retention obstacles exist, we will delete eligible data from active databases within [X] business days and mark related data as non-recoverable during the next backup purge cycle (within [X] days of the initial request).

If data has been shared with third-party providers (e.g., payment/logistics), we will notify them and request deletion per contract and law; timelines may depend on their policies.

5. Data retention and exceptions

  • In the United States, certain transaction records may need to be retained for [X] years for statutory purposes (per IRS requirements).

  • For legitimate interests such as fraud investigation or safety, deletion may be reasonably delayed and will not override your data rights.

6. Impact after deletion

  • Personalized recommendations generated from historical data will no longer be available.
