Care Guide
Water deeply every 7–10 days; reduce frequency during periods of heavy rainfall
Apply diluted slow-release palm fertilizer once. Use a fertilizer formulated for palms to support frond health and trunk growth
Eggshell powder topdress:Crush dried eggshells into fine powder; sprinkle 1–2 tablespoons around the base of the palm every 3 months; avoid direct contact with the trunk to prevent irritation- Remove dead, brown fronds at the base to maintain a tidy appearance and improve airflow
- Trim spent flower stalks after blooming to redirect energy to frond growth
- Avoid cutting green fronds, as they are critical for photosynthesis
- Gradually remove lower fronds to expose the trunk as the palm matures
