Characteristics
- Leaf: Thick, fleshy triangular-ovate leaves arranged in tight rosettes; blue-green with red margins in bright light
- Flower: Small, star-shaped white to pale pink blooms on upright, slender stalks
- Stem: Short, woody stems that slowly branch as the plant matures
Care Guide
Water thoroughly when the top 2–3 cm of soil is completely dry
Apply diluted succulent fertilizer once monthly. Do not fertilize during winter dormancy to prevent root burn
Eggshell powder topdressing:Grind thoroughly dried eggshells into a fine powder; sprinkle a thin layer on the soil surface to boost calcium levels and improve soil drainage- Remove dead, yellowed, or damaged leaves from the base of rosettes to maintain plant tidiness and airflow
- Trim spent flower stalks at the base after blooming to redirect energy toward new leaf growth
- Thin overcrowded clumps in early spring to reduce competition for resources and prevent pest infestations
