Characteristics
- Stem: Globular, blue-green to gray-green, with 8–12 prominent, rounded ribs and small, woolly areoles.
- Spines: Short, white to light brown radial spines (8–10 per areole) and 1–2 short central spines (when present).
- Flower: Pale pink to white funnel-shaped blooms, 3–4 cm wide, emerging from areoles near the stem apex.
