Characteristics
- Leaf: Sword-shaped, bright green, upright linear blades up to 90 cm long
- Flower: Showy blue-violet blooms with yellow or white central markings, 7–10 cm wide
- Stem: Erect, smooth, unbranched stems bearing 2–3 flowers each

Maintain consistently moist soil; add water to shallow margins if grown in a pond
