- Flower: Small funnel-shaped white blooms with pale pink midribs, circling the cactus apex
- Stem: Globular green stem covered in raised tubercles (mammillae) with woolly areoles at their tips

Eggshell powder topdressing:Crush baked, cooled eggshells and mix into the top 1 cm of soil; avoid direct contact with the cactus base to prevent mold growth- Remove dead, shriveled offsets to maintain tidy clumping growth
- Trim brown, damaged spines or tubercles with sterile tweezers to improve appearance
- Separate overcrowded clumps during early spring repotting to encourage healthy growth
