- Flower: Small, tubular purple blooms emerging from the center of the mature rosette

Care Guide
Soak in room-temperature water for 20 minutes every 1–2 weeks or mist thoroughly 2–3 times weekly
Diluted bromeliad or orchid fertilizer once monthly. Use a fertilizer formulated for epiphytes, diluted to 1/4 strength to avoid leaf burn
Composted banana peel tea:Steep fully composted banana peels in room-temperature water for 24 hours, dilute the mixture 1:50, and mist lightly onto the leaves; avoid applying directly to the base of the rosette to prevent rot- Remove dried, brown leaf tips with clean, sharp scissors to maintain a tidy appearance
- Trim spent flower stalks after blooming to redirect energy to offset (pup) growth
- Gently separate offsets when they reach 1/3 the size of the parent plant for propagation
