Care Guide
Keep substrate consistently moist but not waterlogged; mist leaves 2–3 times weekly to boost humidity
Diluted balanced liquid feed every 2 weeks. Avoid over-fertilizing, as this can cause brown leaf tips and root burn
Banana peel compost tea:Soak fully composted banana peels in water for 24 hours; dilute the tea 1:20 with water before applying as a root drench; discard solid peels to prevent pest infestations- Remove yellowing or damaged leaves at the base of the petiole to maintain plant health and appearance
- Trim dead or rotting rhizomes during spring repotting to prevent fungal growth
- Cut back overgrown petioles to control plant size and encourage new foliage growth
