Characteristics

  • Leaves: Rosette-forming, pale green to yellowish-green with elongated white or pale green spots, margins armed with small reddish-brown teeth;
  • Flowers: Capitate (head-like) racemes bearing tubular yellow, orange, or red flowers;
  • Stem: Acaulescent (stemless) or very short, freely offsetting to form dense clumps.

Watering

Water thoroughly when the soil is completely dry.

Fertilization

Apply a diluted, balanced succulent fertilizer once.. Feed sparingly during the active growing season; do not fertilize in winter.

Banana Peel Tea:Soak chopped banana peels in water for 24-48 hours. Strain and dilute 1:1 with water. Use to promote healthy root growth and winter blooming. Avoid leaving solid peels on the soil to prevent pests and odors.
Pruning
  • Remove spent flower stalks at the base after blooming finishes;
