Care Guide
Keep soil evenly moist during active growth and berry development
Apply diluted balanced liquid fertilizer once monthly during active growth. Avoid high-nitrogen fertilizers which can promote excessive foliage growth at the expense of blooms
Composted banana peel tea:Steep fully composted banana peels in water for 3 days; dilute 1:20 for root drench to avoid nutrient burn and odor- Remove yellowing foliage in late summer as the plant enters dormancy
- Cut back spent berry stalks to prevent unwanted self-seeding in garden beds
- Divide overcrowded clumps every 3–4 years in autumn to maintain plant health
