Care Guide

Watering

Water thoroughly once a week, allowing water to flush through the bark mix.

Fertilization

Apply a balanced orchid fertilizer diluted to 1/4 strength every two weeks.. Flush the pot with plain water once a month to prevent salt buildup from fertilizers.

Banana Peel Tea:Soak chopped banana peels in water for 24-48 hours, strain, and dilute 1:1 with water. Use as a liquid feed to encourage blooming. Do not place raw peels directly on the orchid bark, as this will cause mold and attract pests.
Pruning
  • Cut the flower spike down to the base once all blooms have faded and the stem turns brown;
  • Do not remove green, plump pseudobulbs, even if they have lost their leaves, as they store energy;
  • Carefully trim away only dead, papery, or hollow roots during repotting using sterilized shears.
