Banana Peel Tea:Soak chopped banana peels in water for 24-48 hours. Use the strained liquid to water the base of the plant to encourage robust blooming. Discard peels in compost to avoid attracting pests.- Deadhead spent flowers down to the next lateral bud to encourage continuous blooming;
- Remove damaged or tattered leaves to maintain a tidy appearance;
- Cut the entire plant down to 4-6 inches above the ground after the first frost kills the foliage.
