Characteristics
- Leaves: Small, round, opposite, fleshy, pale green to yellowish-green, resembling small coins, about 1 cm in diameter;
- Flowers: Tiny, urn-shaped, white to pale yellow, borne in clusters at the leaf axils;
- Stems: Slender, trailing or climbing, producing adventitious roots at the nodes to grip surfaces.
Care Guide
Water thoroughly when the top inch of soil is dry.
Apply a diluted, balanced liquid fertilizer.. Fertilize sparingly, as epiphytes do not require heavy feeding.
Banana Peel Tea:Soak chopped banana peels in water for 24 hours, strain, and dilute 1:1 with water. Use to water the plant to promote root health. Discard peels in compost to avoid fruit flies and odors.- Trim leggy or bare stems to encourage a bushier, more compact growth habit;
- Remove any dead or yellowing leaves to maintain plant hygiene;
- Propagate healthy stem cuttings in sphagnum moss or water.

Pets: Non-toxic to cats per general epiphyte guidelines, though ingestion of large amounts may cause mild GI upset.
Humans: Generally non-toxic, though the milky sap may cause mild skin irritation in sensitive individuals.
