Keep soil evenly moist but not waterlogged
Diluted balanced liquid feed every 4 weeks. Avoid over-fertilizing, as excess nutrients can cause leaf tip burn
Banana peel compost tea:Use fully composted banana peels; steep in water for 24 hours, dilute 1:25, and apply as a root drench to avoid pest infestations- Remove yellow or browning leaves at their base to maintain plant appearance and improve airflow
- Trim leggy stems in early spring to encourage bushier, more compact growth
- Wipe leaves with a damp cloth every 2–4 weeks to remove dust and preserve leaf gloss
