Characteristics
- Leaves: Long, narrow, sword-shaped leaves with prominent bright yellow or golden bands down the center and green margins;
- Stems: Slender, upright, woody canes that often curve or branch with age, topped with rosettes of leaves;
- Flowers: Small, white, star-shaped, borne in panicles, though rarely seen in indoor cultivation.
Care Guide
Water thoroughly when the top half of the soil is dry.
Apply a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half strength.. Fertilize sparingly, as Dracaena are light feeders and sensitive to salt buildup.
Banana Peel Tea:Soak chopped banana peels in water for 24-48 hours, strain, and dilute 1:1 with water. Avoid using raw peels directly on soil to prevent fungus gnats and odors.- Remove dead or yellowing lower leaves by gently pulling them downwards;
- Prune the main stem to control height and encourage branching;
- Wipe leaves with a damp cloth to remove dust and prevent pest infestations.

Pets: Toxic per ASPCA. Ingestion can cause vomiting (occasionally with blood), depression, anorexia, hypersalivation, and dilated pupils.
