Care Guide
Water deeply but infrequently, allowing the top few inches of soil to dry completely.
Apply a low-phosphorus slow-release fertilizer suitable for native plants.. Requires very little fertilization; sensitive to high phosphorus levels.
Banana Peel Tea:Steep chopped banana peels in water for 24 hours, dilute 1:5 with water. Use sparingly, as native plants are adapted to nutrient-poor soils. Avoid adding high-phosphorus materials like bone meal.- Lightly prune after the main flowering flush to maintain a compact shape;
- Remove dead or diseased foliage to promote airflow;
- Cut back leggy stems in late winter to encourage bushy spring growth.
