Characteristics
- Leaves: Dark green, coarse, ovate to lanceolate, with toothed margins and a rough texture;

- Stems: Sturdy, upright, branching, and covered with stiff hairs.
Care Guide
Water deeply when the top inch of soil feels dry.
Apply a balanced slow-release fertilizer as new growth emerges.. Do not over-fertilize, as this leads to weak, floppy stems.
Banana Peel Tea:Steep chopped banana peels in water for 24-48 hours. Dilute 1:1 with water and apply to the base to support robust flower production. Discard solids in compost.- Pinch back growing tips in late spring (Chelsea chop) to encourage bushier growth and more flowers;
- Deadhead spent blooms to prolong the flowering period;
- Cut stems down to the ground in late autumn or early spring before new growth begins.
