Care Guide
Reduce watering gradually after flowering to trigger dormancy
Feed with diluted balanced liquid fertilizer every 2 weeks during active growth. Use a fertilizer with equal nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium to support bulb health and bloom production
Eggshell powder topdress:Crush dried eggshells into fine powder; sprinkle a thin layer on top of soil and gently work into the top 1 cm of substrate- Cut spent flower stalks to 2–3 cm above the bulb after blooms fade to redirect energy to bulb growth
- Trim fully browned yellow leaves at the base to reduce fungal disease risk
- Avoid cutting green foliage during the growing season to support photosynthesis for bulb nutrient storage
