Keep soil slightly moist after foliage emerges; avoid waterlogging the bulb
Diluted balanced liquid feed every 2 weeks. Cease fertilization once foliage begins to yellow and dormancy starts
Eggshell powder topdressing:Crush fully dried eggshells into fine powder; sprinkle 1 teaspoon per pot on the soil surface and gently work into the top layer to avoid disturbing the bulb- Cut spent flower stalks to 5 cm above the bulb after blooms fade to redirect energy to bulb growth
- Trim yellowing foliage at the base once fully browned; avoid cutting green leaves prematurely
- Remove any dead or rotting bulb tissue during repotting to prevent fungal issues
