Care Guide
Water when the top 5 cm of soil is fully dry; reduce frequency during extreme heat
Diluted balanced succulent fertilizer once every 4 weeks. Avoid over-fertilizing to prevent leaf burn and weak growth
Banana peel compost tea:Compost banana peels for 2–3 weeks, steep in water for 24 hours, dilute 1:20 for root drench; do not use raw peels to avoid pest infestations- Remove spent flower stems to redirect energy to new foliage and plantlet production
- Trim leggy stems in early spring to maintain a compact, bushy habit
- Pluck yellowing or damaged leaves to improve airflow and reduce disease risk
- Pinch back new growth tips to encourage branching and denser foliage

Pets: ASPCA: Toxic; bufadienolides can cause vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, abnormal heart rhythm, and tremors
Humans: Contains bufadienolide cardiac glycosides; ingestion may cause mild nausea, vomiting, or abdominal pain in large quantities
