Care Guide

Watering

Water when the top 5–7 cm of soil is completely dry; increase frequency during extreme heatwaves

Fertilization

Apply diluted low-nitrogen cactus fertilizer once monthly. Avoid over-fertilizing, as this can cause leggy growth and reduced foliage color intensity

Eggshell powder topdress:Crush dried, rinsed eggshells into a fine powder; sprinkle lightly on the soil surface to boost calcium levels and improve soil drainage without introducing excess nitrogen
Pruning
  • Remove dead, yellowing, or damaged leaves at the base to maintain plant health and appearance
  • Trim leggy stems in early spring to encourage bushier, more compact growth
  • Cut back spent flower heads after blooming to redirect energy to new foliage growth
