Care Guide
Water when the top 5–7 cm of soil is completely dry; increase frequency during extreme heatwaves
Apply diluted low-nitrogen cactus fertilizer once monthly. Avoid over-fertilizing, as this can cause leggy growth and reduced foliage color intensity
Eggshell powder topdress:Crush dried, rinsed eggshells into a fine powder; sprinkle lightly on the soil surface to boost calcium levels and improve soil drainage without introducing excess nitrogen- Remove dead, yellowing, or damaged leaves at the base to maintain plant health and appearance
- Trim leggy stems in early spring to encourage bushier, more compact growth
- Cut back spent flower heads after blooming to redirect energy to new foliage growth

Pets: ASPCA: Related Senecio species (formerly included Kleinia) are toxic; ingestion may cause vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy
