Characteristics
- Leaves: Opposite, ovate to lanceolate, 5 - 12 cm long, coarsely serrate margins, densely villous on both surfaces;
- Flowers: Terminal corymbs of small white tubular florets, each with pistillate and disk forms;

- Bark: Lower stems woody with light brown bark, young growth green and villous.
