Characteristics
- Leaf: Cylindrical, fleshy, dark green with pale green transverse bands; tapering to a sharp, pointed tip
- Stem: Short underground rhizome; foliage grows directly from rhizome with no visible aboveground stem
- Flower: Creamy-white, tubular, fragrant blooms borne on tall, upright spikes (rarely produced indoors)
Care Guide
Water when the top 5–7 cm of soil is completely dry
Diluted, balanced liquid feed every 2 months. Avoid fertilizing in winter, as the plant enters a dormant growth phase
Eggshell powder topdress:Crush dried eggshells into a fine powder and sprinkle a thin layer on the soil surface; avoid direct contact with foliage to prevent fungal growth- Remove yellowing or damaged leaves at the base using clean, sharp shears to maintain plant health and appearance
