Care Guide
Keep soil evenly moist during active growth periods
Apply a balanced slow-release fertilizer once at the start of growing season. Avoid high-nitrogen fertilizers to prevent excessive foliage growth at the expense of flowering
Eggshell powder topdress:Crush thoroughly dried eggshells into fine powder; sprinkle 1 teaspoon per plant around the base and water lightly to incorporate into soil- Remove dead, damaged, or diseased branches in late winter before new growth emerges
- Thin overcrowded stems to improve airflow and light penetration through the shrub
- Trim to maintain desired shape after spring flowering; avoid heavy pruning that removes woody growth
