- Flower: Small white, five-petaled blooms on 20–30 cm tall stalks
- Root: Fine, fibrous roots adapted to nutrient-poor, waterlogged soils
Care Guide
Keep soil constantly moist; top up tray water as needed
No fertilization required; nutrients obtained from insect prey. Never apply fertilizer directly to soil, as it will burn the plant's specialized roots
Not recommended:Carnivorous plants obtain all necessary nutrients from captured insects; any DIY fertilizer will damage the plant's sensitive root system- Remove dead, blackened traps and spent flower stalks after blooming to conserve energy
- Trim brown, dying leaves in late autumn before the plant enters winter dormancy
- Repot every 2–3 years in spring; avoid disturbing the fragile root system during transplanting
