Care Guide
Water deeply every 7–10 days during extended dry spells
Apply slow-release low-phosphorus fertilizer once at the start of growing season. Do not over-fertilize, as eucalyptus species are adapted to low-nutrient soils
Eggshell powder topdressing:Crush dried eggshells into fine powder; sprinkle lightly around the base of the tree to boost soil calcium and improve drainage without introducing excess nutrients- Remove dead or damaged branches in late winter to encourage new, healthy growth
- Thin crowded inner stems to improve airflow and reduce fungal disease risk
- Shape young trees to maintain a desired form; avoid heavy pruning of mature specimens as they recover slowly
