Care Guide
Water deeply every 7–10 days during dry spells; reduce watering as fruits mature to improve flavor
Apply balanced slow-release fertilizer before bloom. Avoid over-fertilizing with nitrogen, which can promote excessive foliage growth at the expense of fruiting
Composted banana peel tea:Soak 2–3 fully composted banana peels in 5L of water for 24 hours; dilute 1:10 with water for root drenching to avoid nutrient burn- Prune in late winter to remove dead, diseased, or crossing branches to improve airflow
- Thin fruiting spurs to 2–3 buds per spur to reduce biennial bearing and improve fruit size
- Shape the canopy to maintain an open, spreading form for better sunlight penetration
- Remove suckers growing from the rootstock to prevent energy loss from the main tree
