Care Guide

Watering

Water thoroughly when the top of the medium begins to dry, ensuring excellent drainage.

Fertilization

Apply a balanced orchid fertilizer at quarter strength.. Orchids are light feeders; it is better to under-fertilize than over-fertilize to prevent root burn.

Banana Peel Tea:Soak chopped banana peels in water for 24 hours, strain, and dilute 1:1 with water. Use to water the orchid to promote blooming. Avoid leaving solid residue on the roots to prevent mold.
Pruning
  • Remove spent flowers at the base of the stem to maintain tidiness;
  • Trim away dead, hollow, or mushy roots using sterilized tools during repotting;
  • Do not remove green, leafless pseudobulbs, as they continue to store water and nutrients for the plant.
