Care Guide
Water every 7–10 days during active growth; allow top 5–10 cm of soil to dry between waterings
Apply balanced slow-release fertilizer once at the start of growth. Avoid high-nitrogen fertilizers to prevent excessive foliage growth over flowering
Eggshell powder topdressing:Crush dried eggshells into fine powder; sprinkle lightly on soil surface to boost calcium levels and improve soil drainage without introducing odor or pests- Remove dead or damaged branches in late Winter to early Spring before new growth emerges
- Thin overcrowded stems to improve airflow and light penetration throughout the canopy
- Trim to maintain desired hedge or shrub shape; wear thick protective gloves to avoid sharp spines
