Characteristics
- Leaves: Large, cordate to broadly ovate, 8–15 cm long, margins entire, base deeply heart-shaped, apex acute, texture thinly papery;
- Flowers: Arranged in large terminal and axillary panicles, funnel-shaped corolla 2.5–4 cm diameter, white or with light purple tinge, five shallow lobes;
- Stems: Slender, twining, becoming woody with age, glabrous when mature;
- Fruit: Small dry capsule containing 2–4 seeds.
