Care Guide
Keep container substrate slightly moist; reduce watering if attached to a host tree
No regular fertilization (obtains nutrients from host tree). Do not fertilize if attached to a host to avoid stressing the host plant
Banana peel compost tea:Compost banana peels for 2 weeks, steep in water for 24 hours, dilute 1:20 for root drench; only use for container-grown plants without a host- Remove dead or yellowing foliage to maintain plant health and appearance
- Trim overgrown branches to control size, especially for container-grown specimens
- Avoid damaging host tree bark when attaching young mistletoe plants
- Remove excess berries to prevent unwanted spread to additional host trees
