Characteristics
- Leaf: Juvenile leaves are bipinnate; adult leaves are silvery-green phyllodes (flattened leaf stalks) 5–15 cm long.
- Flower: Fragrant creamy-yellow spherical flower heads in axillary clusters.
- Stem/Bark: Mature bark is dark brown to black with deep fissures; young stems are smooth and bright green.
