- Leaf: Thick, rigid gray-green to blue-gray leaves with sharp terminal spines and small marginal teeth
- Flower: Tall branched stalk up to 6 m bearing yellow bell-shaped blooms
- Stem: Short compact stem hidden beneath the leaf rosette
Care Guide
Water deeply once every 2–3 weeks when soil is fully dry
Diluted cactus fertilizer once every 2 months. Use low-nitrogen fertilizer to promote healthy leaf growth
Eggshell powder top dressing:Crush clean, dried eggshells into fine powder; sprinkle lightly on soil surface to boost calcium levels and improve drainage- Remove dead, damaged leaves from the rosette base to reduce pest and disease risk
- Trim the spent flowering stalk after bloom (the parent plant dies post-flowering)
- Wear thick gloves to avoid injury from sharp leaf spines during maintenance
