Characteristics
- Leaf: Thick, fleshy, blue-green to gray-green leaves with sharp terminal spines and small marginal teeth
- Flower: Tall, branched stalk bearing clusters of yellow, bell-shaped flowers
- Stem: Short, underground stem forming a tight, compact rosette
Care Guide
Water deeply once every 2–3 weeks when soil is fully dry
Diluted low-nitrogen feed once every 2 months. Fertilize only during active growth periods to support rosette development
Eggshell powder topdress:Crush fully dried eggshells into a fine powder; sprinkle lightly on the soil surface to add calcium without risking root burn- Remove dead or damaged leaves from the base of the rosette to improve airflow
- Cut back the spent flower stalk after blooming to redirect energy to the main rosette
- Trim brown leaf tips with sharp, sterile shears; avoid cutting into the fleshy green leaf tissue
