Characteristics

Care Guide
Keep soil consistently moist during active growth periods
Apply acidic, slow-release fertilizer once monthly. Avoid high-nitrogen fertilizers to prevent excessive leaf growth at the expense of fruiting
Composted coffee grounds:Mix fully composted coffee grounds into the top 5 cm of soil to lower pH and add trace nutrients; avoid raw grounds to prevent soil acidity spikes- Remove dead, damaged, or crossing branches in late winter to improve airflow and shape
- Thin overcrowded stems to maintain an open, natural form
- Prune after fruiting to preserve the winter berry display for wildlife
